Sarah Claire Cantley Fleming

Research Scientist and Medical Illustrator

Email: [email protected]

I am a medical illustrator and research scientist dedicated to making science more accessible through art. Working closely with research fellows and neuroscientists, I create engaging artwork for publications and presentations. My focus is on translating complex concepts into clear visuals to enhance understanding and appreciation for science. I specialize in studying multimodal wearable devices for seizure forecasting and early disease detection, aiming to revolutionize healthcare through early warnings and medical insights.

My background in chemistry led me to study film photography and development during my undergraduate studies. Since then, I have photographed surprise engagements, maternity shoots, and more in both digital and film format. I design logos for laboratories, small businesses, and more. I created Illustration Twenty-Seven, a small artist collective with members in the Midwest and New England, aiming to connect artists with a diverse set of skills.
